The two were inseparable since the moment Avery wrapped herself in an embrace with the blonde beauty at the door. They walked hand in hand everywhere afraid to even let go for a few moments without feeling lonely. This transition occurred in only a few weeks in the lovebird’s relationship. It was rapid, but it didn’t even phase the two in any way, almost a love at first sight. ‘Love’ was being thrown a lot recently, not out loud, but definitely in thought. The real question was who was going to say it first? The two were in light conversation as they spoke mainly about Avery’s week of fun at home. Even though for the first time she missed having the whole family there, it really brought her down that Ev wasn’t there. Even if he didn’t say much, he was still missed. The fact Caleb was sincere enough to take a caring in her brother made Avery fall more head over heals for him. “Thanks for caring about him by the way. That means a lot to me coming from you.” A brighter smile played on her lips. As soon as the blonde brought up Poe, it made her smile widen even more. She loved that little puppy, it was a family pet, but the brunette took the most care of him. Her brown orbs met his light blue eyes with a sparkle, “And he can’t wait to meet you either.”They were rudely interrupted by the timer of the oven, but as Caleb made the exit to the kitchen, it wasn’t long for Avery to follow right behind. She sat quietly while the aroma of pepperoni filled the room. It made her mouth water as her stomach responded noisily to being very hungry and wanting the consume the master piece of her magnificent boyfriend. She rested her chin in her hands as her elbows were proped up on the counter. Caleb wasn’t exactly expecting her to be right there, but he tried to play it cool which wasn’t as big of a success. There was a bit of flirting and a few soft kisses before she was offered something to drink. The list of drinks seemed almost endless, and Avery wasn’t good on making decisions. “Bummer, I like the Pierce family recipes. Umm… I think I will have Coke pretty please with kissses on top.” She knew she didn’t really need to beg, but she did want to be cute. Lightly batting her eyelashes at him to seem even more adorable then usual. The blonde disappeared for a moment to fetch her drink and as he gave it to her, she presented him with a kiss as a thank you. This was going to be a long weekend with them being unable to keep their hands off each other, that was a for sure statment.
Caleb picked up the pizza and Avery followed close behind till they reappeared on the couch. Getting herself comfortable while Cowboy turned the TV on even though it was more for background noise then actual enjoyment. He cut into the pizza and handed her the first slice. As soon as the slice touched her hand it entered her mouth. A mumbled “Thank You” came from her lips as she chewed on the delicious meal. Her eyes watched his with a sparkle, taking in all of him once again. The love that she felt for him growing more and more as the night continued on. Her heart really missed the goof-ball she called ‘boyfriend’, so it was good spending the weekend with him. As she met eyes with him, she couldn’t help, but notice some kind of emotion that played off his eyes. It was as if he was deep in thought about something, but she was dumbfounded by what it could be. Simply pushing it aside as she continued to enjoy that food her stomach seemed to crave. After finished her slice, she grabbed another, but instead of sitting at the other end of the couch she placed her body against Caleb’s chest. As if by instinct he placed his arms around her small frame, causing Avery to snuggle close and smile. Finishing the second slice the blonde leaned in close enough that she could feel his warm breath on her ear. A shiver ran down her spine as he spoke softly. In response Avery raised her eyebrow with a bit of smirk dancing off her lips, “You don’t say. And why would that be exactly? I mean I can’t be that special.” It was in more of a mocking tone, becasue she knew what she meant to Caleb, but she still liked hearing him say it anyway. This weekend was going to be a fun memory that would be engraved in her mind forever, she was simply glad that it was the boy that she loved.
She was here, she was really here in his home. It wasn’t that Caleb was having a bad time being home, far from it. The comfort of the Pierce household was definitely what he’d been missing for a while now, being around his parents was a good thing and even if they both went to McKinley it felt like he and Brittany never spent any time together either. So being back home gave the twins a chance to reconnect, a chance Caleb was pretty grateful for. But it was clear that something was missing from the last week, something or someone he’d gotten quite attached to. And that someone was Avery Anderson. So to have her here, just something as lazy as sitting around eating pizza and watching television was such a blessing. Tomorrow they’d be able to get out and go around Fleetwood to do stuff, but tonight all Caleb wanted was to spend a little alone time with the tiny brunette. Well, a lot of time actually, and with an empty house to themselves he’d be able to do just that.
He asked her what she’d like for a drink to go along with the pizza, and her reply was finished off in the adorably cute and flirty way she usuall spoke. Also the way that caused Caleb’s eyes to light up, “Always got kisses for you, Avey.” They were soon seated on the couch, just enjoying the company of one another as they enjoyed the food. Once she was leaning up against his chest and snuggling in, he got close to her ear and spoke softly, she then responded with a tiny smirk questioning why he spoke fondly of the dinner. Grinning a bit and squeezing her tighter, he deadpanned, “Because I love pizza, silly.” In his mind, Caleb wasn’t thinking pizza however, he’d replace the word with her name. Curious whether she’d pick up on his wordplay, he then began to pepper her earlobe with tiny kisses.
She shifted around on the couch and they picked up their kissing where it had left off before, the blonde boy’s hands running through her brunette locks before coming to rest on the slope of her neck. He couldn’t imagine a time when he wasn’t completely hooked on the taste of her lips, even though in reality they’d been together less than two months. Their affection grew for one another day after day, and honestly he could stay like this with her for days at a time. After an enjoyable couple of minutes, their lips parted and a little out of breath he asked Avery a question. “How would you like to take this outside, Avey? The stars are starting to come out, would you like to lie under them for a while?”
